Hip-Hop fans are no longer saying "Hip-Hop is Dead" it is mainly because of the resurgence of rappers with different content and great lyrics to match. The last two "Freshman classes" are lead by Drake, Wale, JCole and Nicki Minaj. There are a few others that are contributing their "two cents" in rebuilding hip-hop. One of those artist that you may or may not have heard about is Big K.R.I.T. a southern MC from Mississippi with thought provoking lyrics and a laid back flow. I honestly feel that Dom Kennedy's From the Westside with Love is my favorite mixtape that dropped in 2010. And with mixtapes lilke Fab's There is No Competition 2, Wiz Khalifa's Kush & OJ and Wale's More About Nothing that is a bold statement. From the Westside with Love has been in constant rotation for the last 5 months. This mixtape is a must to have on your iTunes or Windows Media Player. I guarantee satisfaction to your ears.
